Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism Entry Numbers - United States NEW YORK - September 8 2022- New record breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% higher than in the year 2019.

Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. "It is thrilling to witness a second growth in tourism to Israel from the United States. נווה פריצקי נווה פריצקי Already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking figure of the year 2019," he stated. "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel prior to the COVID-19 pandemic was announced, we had record-breaking tourist numbers month after month; We''re extremely pleased to witness this positive change and anticipate a steady upswing for the months and years to be."

Canada is home to 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022, and 6,000 in August isn''t too much behind the United States.

We are still not far away from our record numbers in 2019, and we are hoping that this growth in Israel travel will continue to grow as Canadians are more comfortable traveling across the world."

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening for everyone regardless of their the status of their vaccination in May of this year Israel has witnessed more than 600,400 US visitors.
