Like Telltale''s other Works

Minecraft''s silent landscaper Steve is exiting his blocky world and entering Telltale''s world of stories: Minecraft is getting a "narrative-driven" game from the folks behind The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones games. Similar to Telltale''s other games, Minecraft: Story Mode will be episodic and will be available across a range of platforms when it launches "some time in 2015." Yurock Despite the acquisition, it seems that Microsoft''s promise to keep Minecraft multiplatform will not be a problem.

Telltale describes the game as a "partnership with Mojang," and says it''s not an extension of Minecraft -- it''s an independent series "driven by the player''s choice." Both Mojang and Telltale emphasize that they''re working with the community on the development of the storyline and Mojang specifically states "We''re not planning to create an ''official'' story for Steve [the main character of Minecraft], or explaining the world of Minecraft in detail."

There aren''t any videos or images of the game in action yet, but we are expecting the same distinct style of art to the style of Minecraft.
