YouTuber Uses AI to Create Minecraft and It's Terrifying

Minecraft is already a very clever game however it could look better, isn't it? There's one weird way people can alter things quickly at the moment, and it's AI. Thanks to images from Dall-E running rampant around the internet, AI is a big thing at the moment, so it was only the matter of time before someone gave Minecraft the AI treatment.
All About Minecraft Servers And Minecraft In General

Mysticat, who is often found building tanks and making friends with them, decided that it was time to explore the full potential of Mojang's Voxel Universe. In their latest video, they explore various AI systems to alter how the game looks and sounds. Soundraw is used to create sound effects and music and Craiyon to create textures. You can follow along with each AI used in the video. Each small change quickly adds to the total.

The end result of all these small changes is, in truth, quite a bit of a fright. While some blocks, like dirt, come away looking pretty good, the PNG images for flowers and the horrifying faces of some of the Minecraft mobs are a nightmare. The sound effects are especially haunting. Every animal sounds like something you'd expect to hear if the world is smashed by a demon invasion.

We think this is a positive indication that people should be designing games, and not AI-based websites. It's a good thing, because it means the inevitable rise of machines is a ways away, too. We're in trouble should Minecraft's Warden is real and escapes the game.
