This represents a 4 percentage increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million tourists from abroad in 2019 and this included 969.600 coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all tourists, no matter if they are vaccination-free. The country already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
