The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique adventure in hiking and riding that is to be loved by everyone.
The Kerem Tunnel is the first bicycle tunnel to be constructed in Israel and was officially opened in the year 2000 as part the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycle route that circles the capital.


The tunnel links Nahal Refaim with Emek Motza. נווה פריצקי The tunnel''s southern entry point is located in Refaim Park below Ein Laban. The northern entrance is in Nahal Ein Kerem about half one kilometer from the Kerem junction.

The Kerem Tunnel first was excavated in the 90s to move a main sewer line for the Gihon Corporation towards Sorek. It is currently being used as an infrastructure Tunnel which includes the fifth waterline to Jerusalem via the Mekorot water corporation.
