Minecraft PS3 Update Added Blocky Skins from Uncharted Heavy Rain And More

When the PlayStation Network is next updated, those playing Minecraft on the PlayStation 3 will find two new skin packs available for purchase. The first features cavemen and koalas, whereas the second focuses on the most popular characters of the PlayStation 3.

According to the PlayStation.blog blog, the Battle And Beasts skin pack allows players to dress up as koala bears, cavemen, an ocotopus, or a particularly angular Cleopatra. The "Skin Pack 1" pack is aimed at "hardcore PlayStation gamers" and includes Minecraft versions of Uncharted which include Nathan Drake and Sly Cooper. It also includes "some Killzone dudes" and "folks of Heavy Rain". We''d like to know more about the characters who will represent Heavy Rain and Killzone. However neither Minecraft creator Mojang nor Sony are able to provide more information.

The announcement doesn''t include pricing for the DLC skin packs. However loyal Sony fans will be pleased to be aware that Skin Pack 1 is only available for the PlayStation 3 version of Minecraft. Free forums [Image: Mojang]
