Private Servers: A Place To Chat About Your Private Servers
My wife was a happy WoW player back in the day. We loved PARTS OF the community, but dungeon crawling together with randoms really took the fun out of it. I found AzerothCore whilst looking for something completely unrelated (I''m a software dev) and thought it sounded like a good server to play with the family (wife, our girlfriend, a couple of our sons)...
So, my question is: Would it be a good service for a family going on a nostalgic kick? Or is it too basic?

The server(s) are based on zaicopx''s TrinityCore WotLK Single Player Repack with some minor tweaks and fixes.
I spent a considerable amount of time setting up a signup page for two realms running WoW3.3.5. Although it''s not perfect, it''s what the small number players who play WoW 3.3.5 think should be public.

After killing a fleeing enemy, a WOTLK character loses the ability to walk.
Hi I got myself the Trinity repack, using Jeutie''s Repack Starter" , thought I would make a server, to try out with my friends to relieve some old memories .
I tested it the first day without any problems. The next day I encountered the most stupid bug. My character can no longer move.
If I go forward the animation "starts" and the character just stands there, if I walk backwards the animation goes but the character is not moving.
This can be fixed by logging out and logging back in. However this is not an ideal way to solve the problem, especially if other people are nearby.
It seems to happen after I kill an enemy fleeing.
There is no debuff against me, the enemy doesn’t seem like to perform any special action other than fleeing when its health drops. Enemy dies = I stay stuck. I don''t know how many other mobs act in this manner.
