Minecraft: Java Edition 1.19.1 Is Out


We''re now releasing 1.19.1 for Minecraft: Java Edition. This release adds Allay duplication and new Player Safety functionality.

Allays will dance along to a Record played in a Jukebox





If the Allay is handed an Amethyst Shard while dancing it will duplicate



Duplication requires a 5-minute cooling down



Sculk Catalysts are now able to drop 5 XP instead 20 XP





Moved the chat scrollbar right





A colored indicator is used to indicate the signing status of a chat message being typed.



If chat preview is being used, the indicator will appear to the left or right of the chat input fields.





The indicator will be blue when the displayed message is signed





Chat Preview will activate the indicator and a preview is in progress.





The background of the chat preview may also appear slightly faded if a preview is awaiting to be signed



Added a warning toast to be aware of servers that don''t enforce secure chat



The list of players on the Social Interactions screen now places entries for players with recently seen messages at the top of the list



Messages that have not been signed using the Secure Chat system or have been tampered on by the server are now marked



Messages with missing or invalid signatures are marked as "Not Secure"





Modified messages that are detected are marked "Modified".





The trust status of messages are displayed with both a colored indicator and an icon



The colored indicator is always visible





The icon can only be seen if the chat screen remains open





Clicking on the icon will reveal more information about the trust status



For modified messages, the original secure text will also be displayed in the tooltip





System messages (nonplayer chat, such command output) are displayed in gray with a color indicator



Chat Preview option added to "When Sending" chat. This allows you to update chat previews only when you are trying to send a message.



To confirm sending a message, a second hit of the Enter/Return key is required





The "ON" setting was renamed to "While Typing".





In "While Typing" mode, the chat preview will no longer display previews if the message has not been modified by the server



Chat Preview is now possible in singleplayer. It will be displayed when you use commands that have selector substitutions, such as /say



Previewed hover events, click events, and other events are highlighted with a solid backdrop



Reporting a player who sends abusive messages to the game chat is now possible. Reporters will need to choose the specific chat messages that contain objectionable content. They also need to specify the category of the report. some forums This is so we can provide the best context possible for our moderation team to take corrective action. This information is available via the social interactions screen.



Multiple chat messages may be selected to report



Additional chat messages regarding this selection will be used to provide additional context for our moderation staff.





You can choose the category from a list called Report Categories



The Report Categories screen features a "Learn About Reporting” button that links directly to a help article.

If you have been suspended from playing online, the game will now show a warning screen at startup



It is also shown why the suspension was instituted and for how long.



A message that has been filtered through the Java Realms Profanity Filter can now be marked by a yellow marker





If a chat message that a player has sent has been fully filter for one or more Realm players, they will be notified.





The chat input box is no longer applicable to custom font glyphs that have negative advances or glyphs which have advances greater than 32





Chat types added to chat_types registry can now only be used for player chat and are not used for system messages



The game_info chat type and the system have been removed





Chat types have been simplified. They are now required to define chat and narration decorations



Chat types no longer support overlays





Instead, you should use a system message to display overlays





The msg_command chat type has been split apart into msg_command_incoming and msg_command_outgoing



The team_msg_command chat type has been split apart into team_msg_command_incoming and team_msg_command_outgoing



The team_name chat type parameter was renamed to target



This chat type parameter can now be used by msg_command_outgoing



The run_command command click event for text elements no longer supports sending chat message directly.



Only commands are supported





This means values now always need to be /-prefixed





Commands such as /say that produce a signed player chat message are not allowed



Instead, use /tellraw



jukebox_play





jukebox_stop_play





Now, the order of chat messages can be cryptographically verified



This is used to validate chat messages for Player Reports



enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers





Insecure chat messages are prefixed with a "Not Secure" tag





Custom servers can set their own auto-completion options for regular chat via a new network packet





Custom servers can hide player chat messages from display via a new network packet



This does not erase chat messages from chat logs.

To install the release, open up the Minecraft Launcher and click play! Make sure that your Launcher is set up to the "Latest Version" option.
