Any Interesting Custom/solo Servers Worth Looking At?

Ascension and icecrown are both great.

Icecrown launched pretty recently and has a fun concept of getting random perks every second level and being able to prestige once you hit max level, on top of some other things like account wide mounts, challenge modes and so on. The only downside is that the launch was pretty bad, it was filled with bugs, exploits and perks are still undergoing constant changes so it feels like an unfinished beta, but the concept is solid.

I remember when every server was a custom server. This was like ''07-''11.

There was like jump challenge/obstacle course servers, level 255 ''funservers'', etc etc. Honestly miss it over everything trying to be super tryhard blizzlike and grindy. Let server list do the fun parts of wow sometimes!

Turtle WoW is good.

Northrend.gg is a mostly solo realm up until end game. If you enjoy leveling you can reset to 1 and do some solo leveling as the dungeons are able to be cleared solo. Pop is a bit low compared to some of the other realms you’ve tried but I’ve enjoyed the realm for quite some time.

do i need to download a different client or can i just change realmlist?

Portal wow is has scaling content so you can solo dungeons, raid need a duo tho so grab a friend perhaps. I had a bit of fun messing around there, its worth a shot in my opinion.

Northrend is dope can do all solo and with groups.A lot of optional quests and currencies to farm , also there is legendary weapon set for every class and spec not just SM and they got dope bonuses too for ur rotation.
