WRUP: All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time to expose a truth that many MMO players aren't aware of that all DPS players are sharks. You may be wondering why so many DPS seem addicted to the chant "GOGOGO" because they know that slowing down even for an instant will cause them to die. They have to keep swimming and killing. This is what MMOs are doing to sharks around the world. There is BOASTED to inquire how a shark can play or type. The rogue who doesn't wait for the healer, tank or any other DPS can't help but follow his actions. He is a shark.

One of the Massively staff members could be a shark, however I cannot confirm or claim it. Maybe he or she will announce his or his status in this week's WRUP. Or maybe it's simply our usual roundup of our weekend plans. You'll never know until you read further, although you should let us know what you're up to down in the comments whatever the case.

@Beau_Hindman I'm definitely going to play more State of Decay. It is a fantastic single-player game that is easily one of my top games. For MMORPGs, I'm testing out the MMO potential of Minecraft I'll be playing the latest patch for DC Universe Online, and I'll also be experiencing some action in Neverwinter, which I think is among the most beautiful and sounding MMOs currently available.

@nbrianna: I went back to World of Warcraft with a group of guildies. I'll be leveling up some old toons and checking out some Pandaria dungeons I've never done. It's going to be fun!

@Eliot_Lefebvre World of Warcraft is currently my game of choice for my side. While there are some aspects that I am still not happy with, it is something I am enjoying. Beyond that, there's bound to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to play and various endgame events to get involved in, so that'll be my primary concentration.

@Sypster: I don't think I have any big plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the countdown mode of Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'll likely try some more scenarios in The Secret World, and maybe even try some of the World of Warcraft stuff the kids love these days.

@mvmatt: I have a weekend plan that includes soup, schoolwork and, if lucky some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself why it was abandoned and to think about the amazing things that almost made it stay until the servers end next month. Aside from that I'd love to spend some time with Guild Wars 2 and The Secret World which are both games which I've been neglecting for quite some time. Maybe, just maybe I can cap some fools on Battlefield 4.

@MikedotFoster - This weekend I'll be examining the Three Spirits Dota 2 Update. I'll also get playing World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me riled again.

@MJ_Guthrie - I plan to spend the majority of my gaming time (and there will be some, sickness be damned!) Doing my best to complete more in the war of The Secret World on Filth. I would like to have the pet and the bee suit so badly that I don't know how to get enough tokens. But I'll try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not at work, I'll be playing couple of scenarios and testing new builds. I will also be playing out various races to be my new Channeler in EverQuest II. It has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. Then, it will take me just 30 hours to customize the look. Then there's the name thing...

@RichieProcopio – This weekend I'll be euphoric. No I'm not going to the frat house, but I'll be paying the tower of dreams a visit in Guild Wars 2 and see what Scarlet and her new serpentine comrades have been doing in Kessex Hills. Oh yeah, and Hearthstone!

At the beginning of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as WRUP!) Join us to find out what we're up to in and out of game. And, be sure to join us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
