Doodle God Universe: You''re The Creator Of The Universe In This New Apple Arcade Game

Doodle God, which launched in 2010 from JoyBits the company, put a puzzle-based twist on the world-building genre. Doodle God expanded into a series of games that include Doodle Devil, Doodle Mafia, Doodle Farm and more. Doodle God Universe joined Apple Arcade on Friday to join the extensive list of Apple Arcade games.

In Doodle God Universe, you''ll combine different elements -- beginning only with air, earth water, fire and earthto create new elements and items for your worlds by solving puzzles, ultimately creating your own universe and supporting the life within it.

Doodle God Universe may feel familiar to those who have played the previous games, but Paul, an official JoyBits brand ambassador prefers to use his initial name to describe this game. Doodle God Universe sports modern icons for elements, redrawn 3D scenes, and more reactions as well as adjustments to the game''s speed and difficulty.

"Easiness and speed are crucial for the modern gamer, and you can feel it in Doodle God Universe thanks to the modern animations of all actions made by players, a minimalistic UI style that enhances usability and an innovative scoring system that encourages players to search for new reactions," Paul told CNET over email. " The game adapts to the style and logic of each player now.

The Doodle God series is an A+B=C style game according to Paul. Games like Triple Town, 2048 and Little Alchemy have similar mechanics which require combining elements that are already in play to create new ones. For FORUMS for the game illustrates how the combination of fire and a bird creates a Phoenix. Doodle God''s unique content such as quests, puzzles mini-games and art stand it apart from other variations and duplicates, Paul says.

Apple''s new hardware also provides a boost to the game in terms of 5G and A14 Bionic chips.

"The power of the modern Apple devices -- iPhone, iPad, Mac, AppleTV -- as well as a myriad of great technologies, such as Metal, integrated with the Unity3D -- all this allowed us to implement all the most daring game design and visual ideas," Paul said.

For years gamers have had hours of entertainment by playing world-building games like Minecraft, Terraria, Terraria, and Stardew Valley. Paul states that Doodle God Universe, like all world-building games is about exploration and finding the unexpected.

"World building games can be fascinating for an awfully long time, and lots of players want to ''re-read'' Doodle God over and over repeatedly like a good novel," Paul said. "And in a world where a person is almost always at home, what could be more enjoyable than re-reading your favorite book, watching your favorite TV series or creating a new Doodle God Universe?"

Paul suggests that players who pick up Doodle God Universe should be open to exploring new ideas. This makes the game more enjoyable. Doodle God Universe rewards curiosity.

"Use your imagination, let creativity be your engine," Paul said. "And there is no special pattern to follow when playing this game You can make use of your brain or mix elements in a chaotic way."

With the release of Doodle God Universe, Angry Birds Reloaded and Alto''s Odyssey, Apple Arcade is close to 200 games, with more games to be released.
