All About Minecraft

Go to Minecraft Forge to download the mod loader which is matches the Minecraft version you wish to mod. We recommend you to choose the installer-win (Or installer if you use other OS) since it is more user-friendly.

Part 2: Install Mod Loader. Note Before installing the Mod Loader make sure you have the correct Minecraft version installed on your system.

1. Open the installer and begin installing. Click on the Install Client, then press OK.

2. The installer will begin by patching the version files, and downloading any libraries downloaded from the internet.

Note: Launchers that are cracked can cause the installation process to fail. Follow this guide to fix it.

3. When you open the Minecraft launcher, you will discover that a profile named Forge is added to your profile list. You can delete the profile, and create your own profile, and then choose the Forge version manually.

Optional: You could delete the Forge profile, and then change the version name to whatever you'd like However, this will require some additional skills, which I won't cover here.

Part 3 : Install Mod 1. Open the .minecraft folder in your AppData and see whether there is a folder called mods. If you don't find it, create one.

2. Google to find some mods! Djw360.com 'm currently using the Minimap mod. Make sure that you download the corresponding version of mod or it won't compatible!

NOTE : Always read their description, requirements and help before install any mod!

3. Cut/Copy and paste the mod (Usually in .jar file) into the mods folder in .minecraft.

Part 4: Loading Mod into game Start the Forge Minecraft version. You'll see this screen. If the installation is correct, you'll see the number of mods that are installed plus 3 on the bottom left of the screen.

Note 1: You could find that several mods are not compatible if you try to install them all at the same time. To see if there are any incompatible mods, make sure to go to their mod page. Note 2: Install mods in order to determine which will cause the game to crash. This will make it easier to fix the mod's issues.
