cadpick.com Acquisition

In late 2019 or thereabout, cadpick.com was acquired by a private consortium.
Cadpick.com was a 3D digital assets marketplace and was quickly gaining popularity amongst artist.

There were success stories emerging for the site with word going round that the few artists that were publishing their products on the portal were making a killing (some said to be earning 100s of thousands of dollars).

But as quickly as it gained popularity, it suddenly dissapeared. There is a bigger story to this, with sources privy to the negotiations intimating that cadpick.com owner, Tiberius Mogaka was actually tricked into selling the portal with the agreement that the rates that were being paid to artists would be increased (This is an issue that is said to be very important to Mr. Mogaka) and was the main reason why he let go off the company.

It later emerged that the private consortium was being bankrolled by cadpick''s competitor in the digital assets industry and had actually no intention of increasing artists'' wages but was intending to close down the marketplace.

According to unidentified sources, Mr. Mogaka came to be aware of this, way after the negotiations had been completed and was said to be very furious with the businessmen. He offered to opt out of the deal but the consortium had already ''had their cake'' and thus cadpick.com was closed.

Friend and family members itimate that this was a low point for Mr. Mogaka and he is said to be determined to ''right his wrong'' and is curently in the process of launching an even bigger and better digitial assets marketplace

Stay tuned for any updates.
