One more tech company scandal

Whether you are in the tech news on a daily basis (I''m looking at you HN ;) ) or just consume generalist ones you may have noticed how wrong the big tech companies are. Time to time, headlines fill your timeline or whatever your favorite source of information is, with stories about how evil are all the now omnipresent technology companies. You watched Terminator®, right? so you already know that the SKYNET thing is going to happen at any moment in the near future.

Have you realized who is the people behind all of those news?, it''s not only about sensationalism and copywriting hacks; there is a set of economic conglomerates that try to maintain its interests protected.

So, now we have a conundrum.

Banks, oil companies, traditional marketing and media firms rejoice knowing the transfer is happening conveniently slow. We know traditional economic powers, governments and any agent who represent the status quo wants to avoid the things to change. But, at the same time we see the emergent actors as an unfair and useless replacement of old powers.

Then we feel tempted to see the old regime as something we want to see eradicated but we cannot support completely the new one, because we are being bombed by news about the threat of our freedom of expression and privacy rights and the neo capitalism and ... Of course we don''t think those facts are fiction, they are real; but we need a clear lens to know where we need to see.

This is a reminder to be doubly critical. I encourage you to criticize the emergent markets but not with the lenses of the decadent powers, we need to have the maturity of our past lives, for REALLY make a change and to avoid just a SIMPLE substitution.

I wanted to do a call of action:
