I asked S for help figuring out where/how to store our wet area rugs (from the basement flood) overnight. I had an idea of what to do, but before I committed to it, I asked for her help by telling me if she saw any obvious flaws in my plan or had any obviously better ideas. And she did have a much better idea, which made me glad to have asked, even tho something about how she responded to my request irritated me (not sure why). Maybe I was just irritated that I was "right" that she would have an obviously better/more practical idea than me... but anyway, I''m still glad I asked for her help bc in the end I prefer "better idea that makes more sense" to "me being ''right'' w/o needing assistance".
